Stefanie Lutero is our Innovation & Design Specialist Teacher at HFS. She is a long-time educator with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and a former HFS 5th-grade teacher. At an early age, she recognized her passion for working with youth and has been doing so for the past 20 years.
Mrs. Lutero earned her B.A. in English from California State University, Long Beach, and her M.A. in Elementary Education and CA teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University. She was a classroom teacher for 4 years at St. Lawrence Brindisi in Los Angeles and for 10 years here at Holy Family School.
During her time in the classroom, Mrs. Lutero discovered her passion for leadership, which led to her next program, the Catholic School Administrative Certificate from Loyola Marymount University. In 2018, she became Principal of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, where she served for the next 6 years before coming to HFS as the Innovation & Design Specialist Teacher. Currently, she is in the second year of her doctoral program for Social Justice Leadership in Education at Loyola Marymount University.
Mrs. Lutero is blessed to be supported by her husband, Mr. Cyrus Lutero, and her two daughters, Ava and Sofia. Ava is a sophomore at UC Irvine, pursuing a BFA in Dance. Sofia is beginning her junior year at Mayfield Senior School.
