Mrs. Vasquez has dedicated 20 years to Holy Family, initially known as Ms. Levin before her marriage in May of 2021. She began her career as an Instructional Aide, working with various grade levels, including fourth, fifth, third, and kindergarten. For the past 14.5 years, she has been teaching First Grade, where she feels she has truly found her calling.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in child development from Cal State Los Angeles, a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential obtained in 2013, and a Master’s in Instructional Leadership from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles, earned in 2019. Mrs. Vasquez believes in a hands-on learning approach that incorporates multiple intelligences and is committed to adapting her teaching style to meet the diverse needs of her students. She emphasizes the importance of developing both academic and social-emotional skills equally. To achieve this, she employs various teaching methods and uses real-life examples that resonate with her students’ age group.
Coming from a close-knit Italian family, Mrs. Vasquez values spending her free time with them. She has two older brothers, a 6-year-old niece who is her world, and a Cockapoo puppy named Greta. She extends this sense of family to her classroom, treating every child and parent as part of her own family.
In her leisure time, she enjoys dining out with her husband, Raymond, cycling at the beach, playing pickleball, and attending Dodger games. Her love for the Dodgers is evident in her classroom décor. Mrs. Vasquez feels incredibly grateful to be part of the Holy Family community and its supportive faculty.
