Is your child ready to begin an exciting journey of faith, discovery, and learning? If your child turns 4 by September 1, Holy Family Catholic School’s Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the perfect place to build a strong foundation for future success.

Where Learning Begins

Transitional Kindergarten is the first step in a joyful educational journey. Designed as the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience, our TK program nurtures the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development of every child in a caring, Christ-centered environment.

At Holy Family, our youngest Knights are encouraged to explore, create, ask questions, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, children build confidence, independence, and the foundational skills needed for a successful transition into Kindergarten and beyond.

A Strong Academic Foundation

Our full-day, standards-based TK program introduces early literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies through purposeful play, exploration, and teacher-guided instruction. Students learn through hands-on manipulatives, collaborative activities, and meaningful experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Choice time encourages students to develop independence as they explore learning centers focused on art, writing, mathematics, construction, dramatic play, and literacy.

Faith is woven into every aspect of the school day. Students come to know God’s love through daily prayer, Bible stories, virtue education, classroom discussions, and participation in our vibrant Catholic school community.
