Admissions Checklist and Timeline

Thank you for your interest in Holy Family Catholic School. We know that choosing your child’s education is essential. At Holy Family, we have served our students and families since 1937, offering Catholic traditions of faith, community, service, and excellence. We thank you for your consideration and hope you will apply to join our legacy!

For the 2025-2026 School Year

Application Checklist:

Our admissions team will review applications once all items listed below have been submitted to the school.

  • Complete the HFS Application, submitted online
  • Nonrefundable application fee of $100. 
    • Please pay via check made out to: Holy Family School.
    •  Mail the check to 1301 Rollin St., South Pasadena, CA 91030, or Drop it off at the school office.
  • Sign up for one New Family Interview & Student Assessment (link to sign up is emailed to you once your application has been submitted)

The following application checklist items must be emailed to us prior to your Family Interview and Student Assessment. Email: admissions@holyfamily.org * The subject line must include the student(s) last name/first name.

  • 1 Family Photo
  • Copy of birth certificate or Passport
  • Copy of Baptismal Certificate and any additional sacraments, if applicable
  • If Applicable, send the Preschool Evaluation Form to your preschool
  • For grades 1-8, your current school needs to fill out this G1-G8 School Recommendation form.
    • Please also submit your student’s most recent report card and STAR Assessment, if available.

February 2025

New Family Interview & Student Assessment 

February 14th

Preschool Evaluation Forms are due February 14th, 2025. They must be sent directly from your preschool teacher/school via mail or email to admissions@holyfamily.org.

For grades 1-8, your current school must complete this G1-G8 School Recommendation form by February 14th.

March 2024

Acceptance letters will be emailed by the 1st week of March.

March 14th

Signed acceptance letters are due. Deposits, which are non-refundable, must be received by this date to ensure your student’s place at Holy Family Catholic School for the 2025-2026 academic year.
