Holy Family has been awarded a full six-year WASC/WCEA accreditation through June 30, 2025!
Over the past two years, the faculty and staff at Holy Family have spent many hours evaluating our programs through data collection and analysis. During this process we have identified our strengths as well as the areas for improvement that will be the focus of the next several years. In February, a five-person team from WASC/WCEA spent three days at Holy Family looking at programs and activities. They met with Ms. Cambria Tortorelli, the Consultative Board, the Parent Guild, the Student Council, the Faculty and Staff and two students from each grade.
Accreditation is a voluntary dual-purpose process that schools (1) must be worthy of the trust placed in them to provide high-quality learning and (2) clearly demonstrate continual self-improvement with the highest accreditation term of six years.
Through evaluation of Holy Family Catholic School, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA)accreditation assures the educational community, the general public, and other organizations and agencies that Holy Family Catholic School has clearly defined objectives appropriate to education; has established conditions under which their achievement can reasonably be expected; appears in fact to be accomplishing them substantially; is so organized, staffed, and supported that it can be expected to continue to do so; and demonstrates that it meets ACS WASC’s criteria and accreditation standards.
We are very proud. I want to thank all teachers, staff, parents, board members, donors, clergy and students for their contributions to the success of this process.
Let us all rejoice and thank God for his guidance throughout this process.
