Confirmed by the words of Pope John Paul II, LifeTeen believes that the Church needs to “find ways of involving young people in projects and activities of formation, spirituality and service, giving them responsibilities for themselves and their work, and taking care to avoid isolating them and their apostolate from the rest of the community.”
The basic components of LifeTeen in a parish are:
- Weekly youth Mass (Sundays at 5:30pm)
- Weekly catechetical Life Nights
- Justice and Service opportunities
- Retreats
- Relational ministry
- Community building within the young church as well as the parish at large.
