Dear Parents,
Unbelievably, we are over halfway through the first trimester. I look forward to meeting with each of you at the parent/teacher conferences which will be in December. I will be sending home confirmations of your selected times, or assigned times if you were unable to sign-up at Articulation Night, at the end of the month.
I hope many of you were able to attend our School Mass in October and see all the beautiful class banners. A special thank you to Mrs. Matranga and Mrs. Casani who created such a spiritual banner for our class. Also, many thanks to our Spirituality leaders, who presented a wonderful lesson on our October virtues, our MTM docents, and Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Banuelos who provided us with Halloween goodies.
November brings a new reading log so please continue to encourage your children to read, read, READ! Also, their first Reading Response Project (book report) is due this month on Wednesday, November 26th. You will receive the information and directions for this project this week. Materials for it will be sent home next week. We will also be going
on our first field trip to enhance our study of various forms of life and their environment.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and you have my many prayers of thanks for all that you do for the third grade and me. In thanksgiving, Sue Arnold
