Mrs. Arnold's Third Grade Class

Is Riding the Wave of Success

Mrs. Sue Arnold has been the Third Grade teacher at Holy Family for twelve years.  Prior to becoming the third grade teacher, she worked as an instructional aide for three years at Holy Family School.  She has also taught middle school math to Dolores Mission and Holy Family students in the Bridges summer school program.  She believes in a Catholic Education and loves both the parish and school community.

She recently celebrated her 32nd wedding anniversary with her husband, Ernie, a Holy Family graduate.  They have 3 sons who are also alumni of Holy Family School and Saint Francis High School.  Their oldest, Jeff, graduated from Dartmouth College and after working in NYC for several years, is starting a PhD program in Political Sciences at the University of Rochester.  Their second son, Matthew, graduated from USC in May 2008 and works for Disney Interactive on video games; and their youngest, Michael, is a Senior at Boston College.

Assisting Mrs. Arnold for the second year as teacher aide is Carrie Levin, a La Salle graduate of 1995.   She previously assisted in the fourth and fifth grades at Holy Family.  She is currently pursuing her education in Child Development at PCC and is a wonderful asset to the third grade.

Mrs. Arnold wants her students to know that she loved being in the Third Grade as a child and would be happy being a "third grader" forever.  Mrs. Arnold would like her students to always remember their multiplication facts and tricks.  This will make it much easier for them in Fourth and Fifth Grade.

"Always remember the fun we had learning."
