Over
the past four years, The Legacy of Learning campaign has generated more than
$350,000, and has made many positive changes for our children and Holy Family
School. We are retaining our fabulous teachers. We have added to our staff. And
most importantly, our children are receiving a first rate education from the
inside out. This simply could not happen without your generosity. We are truly
blessed by the commitment and priority you make Holy Family School.
The
Legacy of Learning Program plays a vital role in our mission to provide the
best, affordable Catholic education possible. This school year, the actual cost
to educate each child will be approximately $6,500, while our tuition is
$5,000. Fundraisers from Parent Guild, Scrip and financial support from our
Parish help to bridge the $1,500 gap. However, your tax-deductible donations to
Legacy of Learning makes up the bulk of the funds needed.
Thanks to Legacy of Learning, tuition raises have been kept
to a minimum. Thanks to Legacy of
Learning, we are not charged extra for enrichment opportunities and field
trips. Thanks to Legacy of Learning,
our 8th Grader’s trip to Catalina Marine Institute and graduation
expenses are covered. Thanks to Legacy of
Learning, after-school sports, including equipment, uniforms, coaches, and
referees are provided. Other parish schools in the area impose additional
charges to their parents for any or all of the above.
Our
2008-2009 campaign kicks off October 14th and concludes on “Pledge
Day”, November 12th. We need every parent’s participation. Your
tax-deductible gift, no matter how small or large will continue to have an
impact. In an effort to sustain the very best education for our children, please
consider making Legacy of Learning a priority.
With
Gratitude,
Legacy
of Learning Committee
