Dear Holy Family School Community,
On behalf of our faculty and staff, I want to wish you all a happy New Year! It’s hard to believe it is 2014 and we are nearing the mid-point of the school term. While our students have accomplished so much already, we can also look forward to many important events and exciting opportunities for growth in the New Year.
In the month of January, our calendar is filled with activities and events. Our second grade children will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This is a wonderful moment in their young lives and I ask that you keep them in your prayers. Also, we will be hosting a meeting with families who are interested in attending Holy Family School. Again, let’s pray for our prospective families as important decisions will be made in the coming weeks. At the end of the month we will have our annual week-long celebration of Catholic schools (more information on this to follow). Catholic Schools Week is a great way to show our appreciation for the gift of Catholic schools generally, and for our own Holy Family School. Also this month, preparations will begin for the annual school play, which is certainly a highlight of the year for our community.
As we endeavor together in the New Year I want to again express my gratitude to you for your continued support of the school. I see only great things on the horizon for our school family and I look forward to working closely with you to make these happen.
