Make a Difference for HFS: Earlybird Auction Opportunity

Dear School Community,

I have important news to share with you about this year’s annual parish Auction!

The Holy Family Parish Auction will take place on Saturday, May 20th. This year’s theme is Carnevale, and it is sure to be a festive and exciting event. As you know, the Auction is the parish’s largest and most important annual fundraising event. Each year, a minimum of $40,000 from the Auction is given in support to the school; this generous gift is an important piece of our budget, and allows us to offer many of the wonderful programs and services that we have enjoyed over the years.

This year we have a special opportunity to increase the amount awarded to the school. With increased support from the school, and greater revenue at the event, we have been assured of receiving additional financial support from the parish. The parish will contribute 20% of the net proceeds, with a guaranteed minimum of $40,000. This is a terrific opportunity to make a difference both in the parish and school!

As an added incentive, the Auction committee is offering families several payment options, including an “early bird” rate and multi-payment plan. The early bird per ticket price is $125.00. You may select a lump sum payment or spread your payment over 2 months (April and May). This special rate is extended to school families and will increase to $150.00 after April 1st (note that the multi-payment plan is offered at $125 per ticket). Payment will be applied to your Smart Tuition account according to the option you choose.

The deadline for the Multi-Payment option is MIDNIGHT, THURSDAY MARCH 23RD.

To select the Multi-Payment option, please contact Kim Pallares at: KPallares@holyfamily.org

The Auction is very important to the school and we ask that we have 100% participation from our school families.  If you are not able to come to the Auction itself, there are still many ways to get involved—you can make a financial contribution, buy a raffle ticket or donate a great item!  There are also many volunteer opportunities leading up to the event and on the day itself.  Please consider helping with décor, or basket wrapping, getting silent or live auction items donated, set-up/tear down or mailings, just to name a few ways.

As they say, A Carnevale Ogni Scherzo Vale, or, anything goes (okay, maybe to a point, but you get the idea!) I look forward to seeing you at this year’s fabulous Auction!

Sincerely,
Frank Montejano, Ed.D.
